I. PURPOSE
To assist in the maintenance of thirteen, 24 passenger tour buses. The Detailer will be responsible for the cleanliness and detail work of the fleet as well as shop tools and work area. The Detailer must be able to perform under limited supervision and meet company season-end requirements. The Detailer will report to the Operations Manager.
II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for detailing 13, 24 passenger tour buses
Responsible for cleaning the shop
Responsible for cleaning and organizing the tools
Offer assistance ordering supplies and parts
Responsible for tracking damage
Responsible for tracking what buses have been worked on
Responsible for filling out a detail/maintenance log
Responsible for providing a daily assessment on buses in general
Act to provide a quality and consistency in the mechanical condition of the buses.
III. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in shop/mechanic meetings
Assist senior mechanic and management in special projects
Provide hands-on support during peak periods to manage work overflow.
IV. JOB SPECIFICATIONS
i) Education and experience
- At least 1 year shop experience an asset
- High school diploma is an asset but not a requirement

- Proficiency using high power tools
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Active listening skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- Decision making ability
- Team oriented
- Able to work alone
